Have you ever made or considered making grocery totes? Seems like a step down to your usual quality of bag but they seem to be all the rage now ---or at least gaining popularity (Silly Bandz are all the rage). I buy them when I think about it and I use them when I think about it, which is far less often than I buy them -- but they do look pretty all neatly nestled in my hall closet.
i HAVE made some grocery totes before just out of some muslin. they were included in shipped packages as a free gift. got to be too much work. they would be super cute as just simple totes with a simple stencil.
